Classroom Management System

I use a "Turn a Card" system for student behavior. All students start on green each day. When they receive their first warning they turn to yellow, then orange, then finally red. Each turn of a card is a different consequence. Whether it be to sit out of recess, call home, or sent to the office. I also keep a chart which shows what color each student was on every day. The students who stay on green for a whole month participate in a pizza party!!! It really seems to work and it helps the students stay motivated to do well. They also like looking at the chart to see how their behavior has been for the week, month, and year:)
